Hi, I bought a new Samsung 22 Ultra phone at your Broadway 1656 store on 12/11/2024. Less than three weeks later, the screen stopped working for no apparent reason.
I contacted Samsung here in my country and they arranged to have the phone picked up and examined. It turns out the phone sold to me as new is actually second-hand and had been damaged by a previous technician. I am from Ireland but travel to the US frequently.
I have my receipt and the box that was supplied to me. They sold me a second-hand phone as new and to top it off, it was defective to the point it can't be fixed.

Verified ReviewerThe cashier told me that if I bought the $10 card that I would be able to activate the phone come to find out that it's not true so basically I paid for this card when it's only a data card. And costo
So, I basically bought this $10 data card thinking it could be used for activation, only to discover it's only effective for data. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
Customer service should have still credited it to my account, allowing me to activate my phone. But instead, they've informed me that there's nothing they can do.
I'm very upset about that because I would have rather waited and bought the $30 card instead of wasting $10 on data I didn't need. I wanted it to activate my phone with the $10 card that I purchased.

- Are not helpful with first time costumers who was sold the wrong card

BEWARE. THIS IS THE WORST MOBILE COMPANY IN PRACTICE.
I paid my monthly $40 plan fee.
The next day, I purchased a $30 plan for a new phone. I then added $10 to the new phone plan for added data. This was on Nov. 22 & Nov.
23, 2024 respectively.
6 days into my new phones' plan that phone and service disappeared from my account as if they never existed. My account is still void or that device and number. When I immediately called Total Wireless I was told the device,.phone number and active plan were "not in the system. You don't have a plan."
FIRST OF ALL - I ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN.

I laughed at this poor, seemingly young and untrained "specialist" and decided to say farewell and try the chat option instead. Big. Mistake. This employee was even more clueless.
I decided to wait and deal with it later. Something didn't seem right about any of it. The device and phone number disappearing from my account. Being told I never purchased those things and they never existed.
This company was gaslighting me for $40.
How desperate and pathetic.
My wallet and primary cell phone were stolen at a Target 2 weeks later. I frantically bought a new Total Wireless phone and engaged in live chat to transfer my primary number to the new phone. I have done this many times due to my clumsy behavior. Never because my phone was stolen but because I had broken it or upgraded.
This is a simple process.
Nothing about it was simple this time.
I paid $40 for THAT plan on November 22. This theft occurred on December 14 and I was using my phone minutes before it was stolen. I have 8 active days left, right?
Nope.
I was told the device and phone number never existed and wasn't in their system. The device and phones number was gone from my account...
Just like the other phone. I spent 5 hours on the phone with another "specialist" who assured me my number was active but in order to use it on my new phone I had to purchase ANOTHER PLAN.
I SPENT $80 ON TWO PLANS IN TWO DAYS AND 2 WEEKS LATER THEY ARE BOTH INACTIVE, NEVER EXISTED, AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE?
They stole $80 from me and didn't fulfill the services I purchased. Then they wanted me to pay MORE. I am still without service and no resolution.
This company is fraudulent, practices gaslighting, literally steals your money and then immediately tells you to pay MORE. It is in everyone's best interest to avoid these crooks. I am sorry I ever engaged or have them my money.
I will not update or revise this post unless these thieves resolve this matter with a proper and fair resolution within the next 4 hours. I've already wasted so much time and money.

User's recommendation: I would recommend total wireless to anyone wanting a track phone, you can even have the option to have your minutes automatically added on through your bank/debit card and not have to worry about forgetting to purchase a card when minutes run out, on top of that customer support is so kind and helpful and normally can solve any problems within minutes (IF YOU EVEN HAVE PROBLEMS), I've never had dropped calls or bad connections just an overall great phone and great experience with total wireless

I am a 16 year old student that was barely able to buy an iPhone and the manger told me that they would unlock it in a month then when I called in two months and they said I have to wait another month I waited a month but they still wouldnt unlock it

I called and didn't have to wait long. The technician was patient and very helpful.
My service and app seem to be working well. I was recommended by a friend. I used to have Q Link Wireless, I don't think any service could be worse.
I just got this service, Total Connect, and I'm not great with technology; we are not very good friends. Everything seems to be working, it was easy to set up and I look forward to continuing my service with Total Connect for a long time.

Customer service is a joke!!
Total Wireless sent me an email saying that I was a great customer and they were giving me a free phone a Samsung A54 a 279 dollar phone. When I went to order it it was not available but there was a Samsung A15 A 149 dollar phone available so I ordered it.
It was to be delivered in 1-3 days. I still have not got the phone and it has been 3 weeks!! I have called several times and they just tell me not to worry that I will get the phone within 24 to 48 hours. Still no phone!!
I think they are trying to back out of giving me the free phone. Is anyone else having this same problem?? All of their customer service is in a foreign country.
They are hard to understand and are of no help. I would recommend staying far away from Total Wireless!!

First of all let me say- I have not had more than three bars with this service. No matter where I'm at, what I'm doing, it just doesn't get any better.
I've contacted the company via text,via chat,calling multiple times a day to no avail! They're stuck on this repetitive process which is clearly scripted (with a low 2 for English btw) which entails getting my name, IMEI, sending me a code to verify who I am, and then "charlie or Mark John" (please!) telling me they're doing something on their end of it and that when we hang out to turn the phone on and off and it'll be fixed- IT HAS NEVER BEEN FIXED.
They speak fast and often over you.
Right now, however I am livid since I'm on day 5 of 2G because they do not seem to know how to utilize the 53 gigs of add on data that I have purchased!! I can't get anyone who has a clue of what is going on and because of this I have been unable to complete 3 different online applications for jobs, am not getting many of my emails or social messages and I even missed step 3 for fed ex for a criminal background check which is the last step before being hired; I WANT COMPENSATION!
Did not get my free phone
I was suppose to get a free, only if we sent in $7.25 for shipping and handling, and then when I call in, I found out that the phone that I suppose to get, was not in stock, so they told me that now, once I get the refund back, I am suppose to ship that money back in and I can get another free phone, this is not right,

I hate Verizon as it is I dropped them for a reason they always find a way to tack on an extra month of something I don't like contract phones because I like to adjust data and whatever my needs are in my travels so I thought it was just a new plan only to find that SmartPay lease to own is affiliated with them and you can't get through to anybody and they ask for your credit card number for $100 bonus before they'll even work with you on solving your problem and I have been trying to return my phone since December but I want to port my number and when that happened they locked my number but I want this phone number but I have been through multiple hangups and I didn't want Verizon My only choices in early buyout which of course I don't have the money at this point in time and is pulling down my credit score which I was not aware that utilities like a so-called prepaid cell phone would do that. Stay far away

Bad customer service
My phone got ran over by a car so I lost my phone. I need a new phone, when I went in there to get the phone that I wanted.
Y'all say myy account was a suspended, which is not true- I just paid my bill. So my phone service was active.
I didn't have a phone for 2 days which cost me money in my job. All this bought me from getting another phone for my SIM card.

I'm so frustrated at this point that I'm not sure I can parlet what I need to say to you without losing my mind but I'm going to try. I am still sitting here with no data, I tried to call they played games with me hung up on me told me three different names and then when I advise them that the voice was being recorded they said they couldn't transfer me to a manager because they were blocked for managers.....
What kind of a business are you running here I want a refund for all the data I've purchased in the last 4 months.
